Highlander Bivvy Bags

Highlander have been around since 1985, being started by Bahram Golzari, a keen mountaineer, after Leith Army Stores, a military surplus store that supplied his university mountaineering club went into liquidation, was purchased and re-branded by Bahram.

The company is wholly family owned and operated, with Bahram’s sons Ramin and Kian both coming into the business, and won Scottish Family Business of the year in 2014 at the Herald Family Business Awards.

Over the years Highlander have steadily grown, expanding into retail chains in the UK, Europe and beyond, as well as expanding their product range, which now includes over 2,000 different lines.

Highlander are best known for offering low-cost, quality outdoor products and equipment, including bivvy bags, such as the popular Highlander Hawk Bivvy Bag, and other camping gear such as tents, sleeping bags and tarps. They also offer a range of footwear, rucksacks and numerous other outdoor products, all of which offer great value for money.
